Just some more portrait practice. Been wanting to do Gerard Way (vocalist for My Chemical Romance, for those who didn't know. 
)for a few days now actually. I was originally going to do a different picture but went with this because I really love the emotion in his face. Tis a picture from the "Helena" video. I had to sort of improvise with the top of his hair and the ends of it though, since his suit it black and so is his hair. >.<
My percils were being crap and I couldn't do his hair completely as I wanted, but I think it came out okay. Looking at it now though I realise that I made his eyes too big; ah well. This is what practice is for though, to become better.
My scanner totally ruined the pictures though, believe me when I say that this looks much better in person.

Gosh those eyes.. They really get me. You've done them wonderfully, they're absolutely beautiful. So big and emotive and just damn.. Rest of him's pretty good too
Needs a bit more of a defined shoulder/neck/area etc. N he has such tiny teeth, but then he does as well in the ref so meh. There's something about either his cheeks or the corners of his mouth that gets me, I'm not totally sure. I think it's also the fact the ref has more of an angle to his head than your image n I dunno if it's all aligned proper.. ah well.
You've done a wonderful job with it, I wont even touch potraits, they scare me >>
